Very good mini-lantern February 28, 2008

I have been using this little lantern for couple of years now and find it to be well constructed, well designed and quite a durable mini lantern. Its small and compact enough for any backpacking journey. The four AA batteries got good life, about 45-55 hours depending on the brand. There is a low power and high power mode. One click for low, two clicks for high and the third click will turn it off again.
The brightness factor may detered some people from buying this. It is not as bright as you hope but it does the job pretty well. For its size, I found the performance of this lantern to be highly acceptable.

Very compact and light weight for a 4 battery lantern. The quality and design are good.
