Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Sing away while the animals play! Through rhythm, rhyme and sing-along songs, little ones can rock out and sharpen learning skills like counting, numbers and animal sound recognition. Younger learners can play with the guitar on the floor, pressing the fret buttons and turning the knob in the center. Older tots can engage in true rock-star style, holding the guitar while it plays. Three fun learning modes can be used in both English and Spanish. In Number Mode, whimsical songs introduce counting. Animal Mode helps kids make the connection between animals and their sounds. And Music Play Mode encourages tuneful freeplay as kids jig along to a lively rendition of "Old MacDonald" while activating a chorus of wacky animal sounds. Requires 3 "AA" batteries, included. Measures 13.5" x 6.5".

3 out of 5 stars Not A Spiderman version   December 5, 2008
The product we received was to be given to our little boy for Christmas. My older son has one and he loves it. We saw this spiderman version and decided to get it for our younger son. Well, when we received the package it was the white and black version. KB Toys will not contact me and Amazon was very difficult to talk to on the phone. I guess looking back I should have not went by the picture. Other than it being the wrong version, they are a lot of fun and are pretty sturdy. I have no problem with the Robosapien, just the seller.

PLEASE NOTE: the Spiderman version of the robot is pictured on the Amazon website, but the company sent its "regular" robot without notifying me. Fortunately, my son was "satisfied" (i.e. he did not want to send it back for correct order.)

I do not know who to blame: Amazon or BabyUniverse, who sent it. I will be contacting both companies.

This is our second robot.

My five year old son broke the first one when he tried moving its leg when he thought it was stuck.
Many of the functions are beyond his comprehension, but perhaps he will grow into it (if the toy lasts), and he currently is fascinated by it.

5 out of 5 stars My View of This Toy   January 18, 2008

This toy is very interesting. It's sort of like a human, but a baby at the same time. I like to watch it dance - it's very funny. I also like making it grab stuff and throw it. It can walk right right to left and forwards and backwards....and you can make it burp and whistle.

If you have a kid that is interested in figuring things out and likes to control something, then this toy is perfect!

4 out of 5 stars Our baby likes to watch it dance...   December 24, 2007

Very enjoyable. Relatively easy to use. It is just a toy, but I wish it was better at picking items up. You basically need to put items in the bucket provided, and then pick up the bucket. Not hard to master picking up the bucket.

I very much appreciate the demo modes. Our 5 month old daughter loves to watch it dance!!
